{ Tis' the Season. }

Tis' the season for weddings, and, so many of them this year! Hard to imagine a year ago, Cal and I were rushing around Minnetonka and Minneapolis to finalize final details with our vendors. Even though it was so much work, it was such an exciting time for the both of us. {I was fortunate to have a helpful fiancé.}It was very seldom when planning became stressful; needless to say, I was extremely organized and to the point of being so organized, I surprised our florist {at our first meeting} by pushing away her book of samples of bouquets and saying "I won’t be needing that."

For future Twin Cities' brides out there might find some of these vendors helpful: Our wedding website.

Their prices were affordable and customer service was top notch!

We had the best photographer, too!

The first time I had ever been frugal {I do mean ever!}, was when we were planning our wedding. Cal and I had an elegant Minneapolis wedding for less than 15K. It is possible!

{ The Recent Buzz. }

The Gossip:
It is so incredibly crazy that Calvin and I planned a wedding within one month! I never thought it was possible! We've booked all of our vendors and purchased my wedding gown. My main goal was to have everything planned before I started school and we did!

Wedding Blue:
Big thanks to Naomi and Maddie for finding the bridesmaid dresses! And what a save! ($40.00!!!) Anyone looking for beautiful bridesmaid dresses? Go to Ann Taylor.

The Front:

The Back:

Flour and Butter:
A few weeks ago, Cal and I selected the foundation of our wedding cake. I'm not going to give away the surprise. However, for individuals who love amaretto and Bailey's are definitely in for a sweet surprise!

J. Crew:
This Monday after our lunch with Calvin's grandpa and grandma at Macy's, Cal and I went to J. Crew in search of Calvin's engagement photo outfit. (The week before, I purchased my outfit.) We found it! All I can say is that Calvin is going to be 'casual handsome.' Now, all we have to do is plan a date for the shoot. Thank you to those of you who suggested engagement photo ideas!

Love Birds:
I am excited to announce my cousin, Christine, will be tying-the-knot this upcoming February! She's hoping for Mexico. Another exciting engagement is Calvin's friends, Danielle and Josh! 2009 will be a very exciting wedding year for us!

Website:
I switched website providers, again! (I promise this is the last one!) This one will be more professionally laid out and easier to view on your computer. On the website, I have made some adjustments and add-ons. View: Bride & Groom and Our Vendors sections.
